NEW iPad mini first look, unboxing , review The day has finally arrived. Apple just announced the iPad mini. The device packs an A5 processor, a 720p FaceTime camera, 10 hours of battery life, a 5-megapixel camera, a FaceTime HD front-facing camera for video chat, 4G LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi and a Lightning port connector. It's also just 7.22mm thick and sport sa 7.9-inch display with a 1024 x 768 resolution. The 16GB model will start out at just 9, the 32GB option will cost 9 and a 64GB model is 9. If you want 4G LTE support, you can expect to pay 9, 9 and 9 for those models, respectively. The iPad mini will be available Nov. 2, but anyone who is interested can pre-order it this Friday. The iPad mini will start at £269 for a version with Wifi connectivity only and 16GB of storage, compared to £159 for Google Nexus 7 or Amazon's Kindle Fire HD. Industry analysts had expected Apple, which currently dominates the tablet market, to mount a more direct attack on its rival with pricing from around £200.
