How to install DD-WRT on Linksys E4200 Router

How to install DD-WRT on Linksys E4200 Router Video Clips. Duration : 8.53 Mins.

How to install the powerful, open-source DD-WRT firmware on a Linksys E4200 router, following the instructions on the DD-WRT wiki page: www.dd-wrt.com Some key features that DD-WRT provides that the stock firmware doesn't include: - VPN server: Connect to your router from anywhere and work as if you were on your home network - VPN client: Extend your network to include another network over a VPN - SSH server: Securely connect to a unix shell on your router - WOL ability: Wake-on-LAN - Log in to the router's web interface and remotely wake up a sleeping computer - Scheduled Reboots - This may allow you to install a print server; I do not need to use my router as a print server, so I have not tried this, but I see something on the DD-WRT site about installing one. There are a few warnings on the page about limitations of the firmware on this router; so far it is running fine for me (3 days) but I will post in the comments if I run into any issues.
