Philips Player

Philips Player Tube. Duration : 0.93 Mins.

Best Shopping www.amazon.co.uk Customer Reviews: "Bought this 2 weeks ago, chosen mainly because it plays almost any media format (I've yet to find one that doesn't work) and has ports for SD card, eSata and USB. It streams HD content really well as well as playing direct from devices that are plugged into it. I must stress that I've given this device four stars based on what I use it for (basically streaming Videos from my network and playing videos directly from usb devices), the Net TV function is one I rarely use which is probably a good thing as it is extremely limited (No BBC Iplayer, 4OD, ITV Player, Netflix etc.) and not very useful(Facebook/Twitter are glitchy and slow, youtube is ok though), this may change or get better in time with software updates but at this point in time **IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR NET TV THIS ISN'T FOR YOU!** As Net TV doesn't interest me my own issues with this device are with the lack of a physical on/off switch on the device and the fact that it can sometimes freeze up when trying to access files from my home network. I'll point out that because I work different shifts to my girlfriend she uses it while I'm at work then I get home and use it while she's at work the device is used quite a lot (maybe 8-9 hours a day) and its frozen 3 times in the last 2 weeks so it's not an everyday thing but given that there's no on/off switch you have to disconnect the power supply to reboot it which can be a pain if its not easily accessible from where you ...
