I captured this video during a power outage. The power had just gone off and remained off for about 2 hours. I have 2 Synology NAS devices that store all my data. I wanted to see if the settings I configured on the NAS and UPS worked as planned. Everything did work and I did not lose any data. The NAS devices are plugged into the back of the Cyberpower UPS through the electrical plug in as well as a USB cord to link the devices. Through USB the NAS instructed the UPS to shut down after the drives went into safe mode. I had the drives remain active 60 seconds after the power outage and then shut down safely.
